New Year's Eve
First it was off to Star Bar to meet up with Jenn, Robby, Melissa, and Zane (and other random people!).

When Zane first brought this out to us we thought he was bringing us a New Year's eve headband like the one the naked guy had on.
Oh, I didn't mention the naked guy? Apparently this guy comes into Star Bar occasionally, goes into the bathroom, takes off all of his clothes, and then walks around the bar a few times. I'd only heard about it until New Year's eve when he did a few bar laps wearing only his New Year's party headband. I really felt like I'd accomplished something for the year after seeing him.

We left Star Bar at about 11:15 to go to Scott's party (since he lives only two doors down from Jason, I could start getting my drink on!). We just missed the fire spinners, but arrived in time to get our own bottle of champagne. Too bad Jason decided to let me open it.

What do you mean the cork is stuck in the champagne?
Yes, I broke the cork. The champagne was rescued, however, by a brave unknown party guest who stuck a corkscrew in the cork and pulled on it until it popped.

I think I would have been afraid the wine opener was going to end up embedded in my forehead! But thank you random party guy!
