Visit to Pittsburgh - October 2006
Dad and I went to the Strip District for lunch and fun shopping on Tuesday.
We stopped to visit with Aunt Lucy on our way.
Dad outside of Wholey's.
Look at all the seafood!
We need this much seafood in Austin.
Salt cod is icky looking.
Mmm.... hard shell Maryland crabs.
The awesome lunch counter.
Dad and I both got fried cod with fries. I also got a crab cake
and Dad got something else... fried oysters and fried shrimp I think. And we got an order of fried smelts
just for old times sake. I don't think I've had them since I was 15!
Look at all that crab!!!
This sign is SOO WRONG.
Looking towards downtown.
It's hard to see but that's a Steeler bread over to the right side at Mancini's.
I was trying to get a good shot of the houses that sit on the hillsides.
This store has awesome toys, decorations, and party supplies. It's where Kenn the rat came from!
They don't believe in keeping their stuff behind the counter at Mike Feinberg's. They just use some shelves for office supplies instead of merchandise!
I love how the labels at Pennsylvania Macaroni Company say "Thanks Honey"
The cheese counter at Penn Mac.
The Strip District Primanti Brothers.
